Peanut Butter Pinwheels

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies

This was a good recipe.  The baker failed to execute all of the instructions correctly.  Therefore, these are not pinwheel cookies, but rather, chunk cookies.  You can almost see a swirl, almost,  if you look at them with one eye shut while standing with your left leg six inches off the ground and your head to a right angle.  Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk CookiesLet’s see, where did the baker fail?  1. The chocolate was heated in the microwave just a little too long and despite the added butter, it seized. 2. Not enough flour was added to the dough and it became too soft.  3. The rolled cookie dough was left in the refrigerator WAY longer than the prescribed thirty minutes and the chocolate went from cranky to downright solid.  The verdict from the house was delicious, don’t fear for the flavor.  This is a great tasting cookie.  I am just not holding my breath for a good swirl.  Ever.
