Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream (no machine necessary)

Ingredients
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 12 oz tub Cool Whip frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • ¼ -1/2 tsp mint extract
  • 3-5 drops green food coloring
Instructions
  1. Mix the flavoring and color with the sweetened condensed milk in a large bowl.
  2. Fold in the Cool Whip.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Place bowl in the freezer and freeze until hard, up to 12 hours.

  1. I keep seeing the no-ice cream machine recipes everywhere and they look good and I probably should try it sometime, because frankly I wouldn’t mind skipping that extra step once in a while! Plus who can say no to mint chip?
