Strawberry Pie

Fresh Strawberries for Pie

This is the easiest pie to make.  The filling is basically a homemade glaze over fresh berries. The concept could be carried over to blueberries, too.  The crust, though mostly homemade, isn’t regular, scary pie crust that keeps some folks from attempting pie.  It is quite simply a shortcake in a pie pan.  Plan on leaving some time to let it cool in the refrigerator.

  2. >This reminds me of the cobblers my Mom used to make with Bisquick. Peach was my dad's very most favorite but I liked her sour cherry ones the best.
Thanks for the recipe & the memories.
I hope you get to try making the Asiago cheese bread. We're having toasted slices of it for supper tonight with homemade chicken noodle soup. Good for a rainy night supper.
