Chocaroon Pie

Crustless Chocaroon Pie frugalanticsrecipes.comI found this recipe while I was in college . I think it was on a package of Baker’s chocolate.   It is rich and very chocolaty; just what a bunch of coeds need after a hard week of finals. Actually, it’s good anytime.  When you put the pie in the fridge, the center soaks into the brownie turning its texture into a fudge like chocolate wonder.

Crustless Chocaroon Pie
  • 3 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • ½ cup butter
  • 3 eggs
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1½ tsp vanilla
  • ⅔ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups coconut
  1. Melt chocolate and butter in the microwave.
  2. Stir in eggs, sugar, flour and vanilla. pour into greased 9 inch pie plate.
  3. Mix milk and coconut; spoon over chocolate mixture, leaving ½ to 1 inch border around the edge.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  5. Cool and cut.
